July 22nd 2016 (and July 27th)

This week has been good.  When I was washing my hands I felt all this water hitting my feet and when I looked down our sink pipes were falling off, so I touched it and the hole thing came off, so it was kind of funny.  I hope all of the painting goes good for Ellie's new room, I can't wait to see what it looks like.

It was cool because my second week here we started doing this thing called TRC.  It is where members, inactives, and non-members can sign up to be taught by the missionaries here in the CCM.  So it was cool because yesterday we got to hear from an inactive member that me and my companion taught.  He sent us a video saying how grateful he was for us teaching him and that it was the first time he has felt the spirit in a very long time.  This week has been good, a lot of people are trying to help me with Spanish.  Sorry I don't have a lot of pictures, I have not found the time to take any.

(July 27th)

Sorry I did not tell you guys but my P-Day changed, it was today.  My flight leaves on Monday at 1:28 am and I arrive at Colombia at 6:00 am.  I leave Colombia at like 8:30 am then get to Ecuador at about 10:30 am, I cant wait.

But everything else is good, my Spanish is still horrible, but my testimony grows more every day.  I just love this gospel and sorry I don't have many pictures, I just can't find the time to take any.  I hope all of you have a great week, I love you guys so much.

July 15th, 2016

I went to the temple today and it was great.  Sorry you don´t have a lot of pictures of me, I will try to remember to have me in them.  My Spanish is starting to pick up, I think.  I still can´t speak very well, I can only say a few words.  My health is starting to improve, it should be no time before I´m back to normal.  It is weird to think that I only have two more weeks in the CCM.  I can't wait to get to Ecuador.  Not a lot has happened this week, so I don´t really know what to talk about, but everything is great, and I´m really happy to be here.  Oh yeah, now that the storage room is clean you guys NEED to get your food storage.  Anyway, have a good week​.

I cant believe Keenan is married!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 

Here we don´t have air conditioning, but it is about 70 all day and 60 at night, and yesterday there was a huge storm.  It was awesome.  Two days ago I got the flu, I´m still a little sick but I´m better than what I was.  My companion is from Texas so every night he freezes.  I cant wait to go to Ecuador, but I'm still bad at Spanish, but it is nice because all my teachers and a bunch of people I've never seen before know I'm struggling with Spanish and they are all giving me a lot of attention and trying to help me.  The temple was amazing, I brought my patriarchal blessing and read it in the temple, it was amazing.  I can't wait until the next time I can go. 

June 29th, 2016

The flight was fun and there were were 70 missionaries on my flight.  I never knew how big Mexico city was, and the bus ride was crazy, cars are just flying all around.  The CCM (MTC) is really nice but a lot of it is under construction, and next Tuesday 270 missionaries are coming.  We have pizza every Tuesday and it is really good, but at first all the food was weird.  On Sunday they had steak for lunch but me and my companion were fasting.  For dinner we had hamburgers and we all got sick from them, but I'm feeling much better.  

My companion is Elder Stolle, we are complete opposites but we get along just fine.  I'm really bad at Spanish and I have no idea what any of my teachers are saying but I'm very slowly learning.  I was very stressed out the first few days but with a lot of praying I'm doing great now, especially after a lesson we had yesterday.  It was about selflessness and I learned that I'm not learning Spanish, or studying the scriptures for me, I'm doing it for God's children, I'm doing it to teach people the truth and help them gain all the blessings of the gospel.  I have never felt the spirit like this before, and my district is the best, we are a family, and they are all great examples to me.
