Well my new companion is a Latino, he can barely speak English. I have no idea how I'm going to survive. I'll get you his name next time; I don't how to ask him how to spell his name and I don't have a good view of his name tag. But he is from Peru, he is really nice. He was a secretary before he came here, but now elder Taylor is a secretary, so it is kind of funny. I don't have a picture yet, he got here a few minutes ago, so we just came straight to emailing.
My week was good, a huge rain storm is happening right now, me and my companion are soaked, but its cool.
I love hearing about my car, dad should take some pictures. Nothing much has happened this week. I didn't give my talk but I made it. Life's good. We have been feeling a lot more tremors lately, but nothing has happened with the volcano, sadly. I hope you all have a great week and I love you all. Sorry I don't have pictures and my email will be longer next time.
Elder Dallin Robertson is serving in the Quito Ecuador Mission as a full time missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Elder Robertson left on June 21, 2016 and will return sometime around June of 2018. Missionaries have a limited time to respond to all the E-mails and letters they receive so we will include here some of his letters home so that friends and family can keep up to date on how things are going for him and his ministry among the wonderful people of Ecaudor.

Well, this week has been great The volcano has not erupted yet, and the tremors are nothing big, just very small and quick. It is very hard with the weather not changing, I miss change.
It is cool everything is going great at home, and Dad can do all he wants with my jeep. Because, if he can fix it great, if he cant who cares, just as long as he has fun doing it. It is cool Ellie had a concert. My zone was supposed to sing in a conference, but it never happened. Now we are just going to record our song. After we practiced a lot we recorded ourselves and we all think it is horrible but we are still practicing.
The beginning of the week I got sick and one night I had a crazy dream. The Nephites were doing a ton of construction in our room and I was getting so mad at them because I was sick and just wanted to sleep. The dream felt like it was going on for ever. But now I'm feeling better. The last two nights I've been getting horrible bloody noses. I was getting really light-headed last night but then I managed to stop it. Right now I'm fine.
This is the last week in the transfer, it is crazy. I have no idea who will be leaving, but it might be Elder Taylor, just because this was his 4th transfer in Riobamba. He has been on the mission for a little over a year.
Everything is great. I'm giving a talk on Sunday, I'm so nervous because I can't speak Spanish so I have to write a 15 minute talk out word for word. I have never done that before, it will be crazy.
I love you all, have a great week.
Oh yeah, I ate guinea pig, it was really weird, and scary. Luckily I dint get the head.
This is a weird plant that feels like rubber:

Well everything is good here. The volcano, Tungurahua, isn't doing much. There's no smoke, at least from my view, but president evacuated all the missionaries that are in BaƱos. I guess it is just glowing orange right now. Every so often there is a tremor and, whenever we feel one, we run to the nearest viewpoint to see if anything is happening to the volcano, but nothing yet.
We have found a new investigator named ________, he is 18 and has been studying the church his whole life, so he knows everything. He knows the church is true, so it is awesome.
My interview was good, we mainly just talked about my branch. My companion told him I can be a perfectionist, but president told me to have patience with Spanish, and that it will come over time.
Life's good, it reached 71 a few days ago, it was horrible, it was so hot!!!!!
Today we did a lot of shopping and bought bacon!!!! We made BLTs they were amazing, the bacon was really expensive. We were spoiling ourselves.
I love you guys a ton and hope you have great week.
Here are some pictures......

Well this week has been very weird, we have been finding a ton of new investigators, this week has just been crazy.
Conference was amazing, and it is great they talked about missionary work, and repentance. They are two very important subjects for this time.
Today I got to go on a little hike, to the tallest mountain in the world (measured from the center of the Earth), Chimborazo, it was a lot of fun, and there was snow!!!!!!! You would lose your breath about every 5 steps, we didn't go to the top, but it was great.
Yesterday our power went out again, but it was out for a lot of Riobamba. It was really weird, a lot of groups were just walking around in the dark, so we quickly ran back to our house.
Sorry I don't have a lot to talk about.

Well, my apartment is now without power because the power lines are really low here and i front of our casa the roof of a bus got stuck to the power lines. There was a huge explosion and a lot of sparks; the power line got destroyed, and the bus just drove off, but the cops got there and interviewed a few people, but who knows when we will get power.
It is great you guys had a good week. I always wanted to clean the conference center. I can't wait for conference, I get to watch it in English, so that will be nice.
I sleep great, I don't get that cold. It is funny you guys almost got a dog. One of the families I'm teaching has a little puppy and it is always crawling all over us.
I'm going to interview with president on the 4th of October. I guess every other transfer he interviews the missionaries. He is coming to Riobamba so I don't have to go to Quito.
I'm teaching an English class, it is a lot of fun and I became the English tutor for my district. In the past few days I feel like my Spanish improved like crazy, it's weird, but awesome.
I did divisions last Thursday. I was with a Latino elder and at the end of the day he looked at me and said I need to use my gift. I asked him what my gift was and he told me that whenever I would speak the room would be filled with the spirit. So he told me I need to speak more in lessons, even if it is in broken Spanish, because it is not words that convert people it is the spirit.
I'm very sorry I don't have pictures again. I will have some next time. I love you all some much, have a great week.
