About your questions with packages, everyone gets them.  Only one has been lost and it was because it was too heavy.  Someone said they are sending me one so we will see what happens.

I can see 4 volcanoes from my window but they are usually covered with clouds, but they are cool.  Every missionary thinks Riobamba is cold, but I think it feels great.  The wind is cold, but nothing bad.  It is funny how you guys might not be able to get rid of my jeep because it is in my name.  If dad can't fix it it's all good.

It has been a normal week, we just contacted.  The family we found is never there, so we haven't talked to them in a while.  ____________ is doing great, he hasn't gone to church, but it is great to teach him, we are great friends.  The rainy season has started, it is nothing bad but it rains all day.

Going along with some of dad's questions: there are dogs everywhere, some are really mean and some are really nice and follow us around.  Me and my companion get along great.  My favorite drink is probably tree tomato juice, it tastes nothing like tomatoes.

It is great everything is going good and that Dad could get the cars fixed.  It is crazy what Elder Ballard said, but it is true.  A few days ago, president said we need to make emergency kits in case, if for some odd reason, we have to walk back to Quito.  So we will see what happens with that.  I finished my first transfer today, nothing changed for me, but now my district is me and my companion and one hermana(sister) companionship.  So there's only 4 of us in my district.

It is crazy Grant and Tom are leaving on their missions, I'm so excited for them.
We found a new family of 3 that seems very interested.  Our fist lesson was amazing, the spirit was so strong and, at the end, the mother said that she has never had those feelings before and that we were definitely not Jehovah's Witnesses.  Life is good, I love it down here but the weather is getting to me, I'm now really cold when it is 62 and really hot when it gets to 68.

Well everything is good, I didn't feel the Earthquake but por the last few day we been having small tremors.  Other than that, nothing has happened.  We have almost contacted everyone in my sector and we haven't got any new investigators, but we found a guy from Texas.  He didn't want to hear our message; we just talked about the United States.  [One of our investigators] had to work all last week and all of this week, so I have no idea when we will be able to meet him again.

The fried mashed potatoes are called llapingachos, and you just make mashed potatoes and make a patty and then throw it into a pan with butter.  Me and my companion put cheese and some seasonings in them and fry them until they are golden brown.  We make them almost every day, I know it is not very healthy but they're good.

It is good work and school are going good for you guys.  I'm really happy I don't have to go to school. I hope Dad can get the parts he needs for the cars, I wish I could help him,  That's the biggest thing I struggle with is not driving or working on a car.  My companion finds it annoying because I judge all the bus drivers with their ability driving a manual transmission.

I will try and take more pictures in the future, I just keep forgetting.  Last night we saw a spider that was about the size of the palm of your hand but I didn't have a camera.  So I don't have any pictures.
