That is funny that dad punched his hand at the wall and hurt it.  I think if you punch a wall here you would break your hand.  Yeah, it is cool to see how much of the Book of Mormon talks about missionary work, and how many examples you can use for almost any subject. I'm almost done with the Book of Mormon and I have been focusing on Christ while I'm reading it.  I mark everything that has to do with Christ.  I have been doing that for the last 4 months and it has been a cool experience.

Changes were today but nothing changed for me; I'm still with elder Clukey.  It surprisingly hasn't rained this week, it has just been really sunny, and it was weird to see a huge blue sky.  It has been nice, just hot.  This month we should have a baptism, two of the investigators are progressing really well.  After we taught about eternal families the mom about died and asked when she could be baptized.  We are just teaching the mom and one of her sons who is 20, but they are cool.  We really haven't been finding any one else to teach, the people here don't want to listen to us.

It was funny because today our electric shower-head began to spark.  It was my comp that was in the shower, and I just heard screaming, and he ran out of the bathroom with just a towel, and was freaking out.  So it was funny.  The only part that isn't funny is we won't have hot water until someone can fix our shower head.  I just hope it will been soon, like tonight or tomorrow.

I got my flash back, so I will send some pictures.  I have a lot of pictures so I think you guys will only get half of them today.

It is great that it finally snowed. I hope you guys have fun. Yeah, it is cool that they announced the new prophet, I saw the video. 

It was cool because today we went to a waterfall and it was a cool hike. I took pictures but the computer ate my flash drive so I don't have pictures anymore or a flash drive. Tomorrow they told us to come by, they said they will take try to take it out tomorrow night, so I hope I can get it.

The last few days it hasn't rained, but it just started raining so I guess it will be another 5 days without sunshine. But I kind of like rain.

Life is good, just not a lot has happened this week, it was a little slow. My comp's name is Elder Clukey and we get along good.

January 15th, 2018

That is funny Keenan was riding on the back wheel cover of dad's motorcycle, it is good nothing happened.

It was really cool this week, because we have a investigator that we are teaching and she has a foreign exchange student, who is from Germany. He has never really talked to us even though he knows more English than Spanish. But one day we were eating and he started asking us questions about the gospel but we had to tell him everything in English. He seemed very interested, so we showed him the church website and put it in the German language. So I hope he reads a lot this week. He only has 6 more months here, and he is 16, but I hope we can help him prepare for when he returns to Germany to call the missionaries so he can get baptized.

This week has just been full of rain, rain, and more rain and just more rain and a ton of more rain. It is crazy we end the day just drenched and cold but I like the rain.

It was cool because our ward had a huge change of heart and are wanting to help with missionary work more. This last Sunday, in ward council, the bishop told everyone that we should fast for some of our investigators. I have never had a bishop say that before, it was so cool.

January 8th, 2018

Well, it is cool it was Keenan's birthday, I bet it was fun. I don't know why you guys wanted to eat Ecuadorian food, the food in the states is much better. But yeah, the meal you guys had, I ate that a lot when I was in La Concordia, or stuff like it. It is cool Ellie got asked to prom. I hope she has a horrible time. :)

Life is going good here, nothing really happened this week, just a lot of our investigators are being a little difficult with accepting fecha for baptism and we haven't found any one new.  The family we found a few weeks ago, just have had other things when we want to visit them, but in time it should get better.

We do have one investigator that is doing well, his name is David and he is 18 and, as of right now, loves the church and the Book of Mormon.

This week it rained for like two days and then was sunny, so it was cool to see some volcanoes when the clouds cleared up. I think one of the volcanoes has smoke coming out of it, or water vapor, but it is just cool to see white mountains.

January 1st, 2018

Well, it is cool you guys had a good Christmas and New Year's. It was good here.  Yesterday we just stayed in our house because there are a lot of crazy people running around on New Year's Eve, "Men dressed as women." So it was a relaxing day yesterday, but it was raining all night. At midnight it was raining like crazy, so everyone was outside just soaked, but it was cool to see fireworks in the fog. You could just see flashes and hear explosions. We were just sleeping and all of the fireworks woke us up.

Yeah, it was cool Skyping. It was just weird for me. I just completely forgot it was Christmas and that I was going to Skype with you guys, so I had no idea what I was going to say or talk about.   

This week was good, we just didn't do a lot. Everyone was on vacation or didn't want to talk with us because it was a holiday week. Today all the stores are closed so we didn't do anything today. This week should be better.

It is crazy how little time I have left in the mission, I hope I can go all out these last few months.
